On a gorgeous sunny day in June, Elianna, along with her family and friends celebrated her Quinceanera, her fifteenth birthday. Her traditional party involved lots of pale pink and gold and beautiful barn details. There were many encouraging and challenging speeches given by her closest friends- who were her attendants, by close family friends, and by her wonderful parents and Abuela. If you noticed Elianna’s amazing dress, your going to be even more amazed because Elianna designed it and her Abuela sewed it. There were so many beautiful moments at the Quinceanera that it’s impossible to chose my favorite, although when the father-daughter dance was interrupted by the attendants and turned into the cupid shuffle that was crazy and enjoyable to see.
Happy Birthday Elianna! I was so honored to be a part of your special day!
Meet Taylor. She is one of the most beautiful people I know, with impeccable style and a heart of gold. She ran around (in her black pumps) Minneapolis looking like the model that she is. This girl is going places in life. she adores traveling, especially internationally. Another love of her’s is thrifting, she’s always finding the cutest things for cheap. What is a wardrobe must, I asked her, her response was a “good pair of heels”. Taylor’s are thrifted, of course.
Meet Emily! She is always laughing, and being crazy. She’s best friend’s with my sister Care and I shot these photos of her when they were hanging out a month or so ago. Care is a good 6 in. taller then her ;) Em is just a model and I love her so much. Isn’t she cute?
Meet Sarah! Some people are only beautiful on the outside, but Sarah’s inner beauty shines through and makes her one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. I love the joy that radiates from her. She is a very gifted writer and plans on pursuing creative writing or education.
Meet Sana! She is oh so sweet and quiet. I first met Sana at her brother’s wedding in December, and I was so excited to see her again and shoot her senior portraits. She was totally willing do to whatever I suggested to get awesome photos, like climbing through brush. She’s so awesome!

Meet Caroline (also known as Care to her closest friends and family). My crazy amazing sister turned 15 in mid march, when we were celebrating I spotted this awesome yellow green wall and we looked at each other and knew now was the time for some birthday photos. Care rocks the fierce serious look and her smile is my favorite. Happy [Late] Birthday to my dear sister and best friend!
Sarah Elizabeth is my very best friend, I was so excited to take her senior portraits. I can hardly describe how amazing, and beautiful she is- inside and out. She has blessed me so much with her friendship over the last 4 years. The joy of the Lord is so evident in her life, and God is going to do great things through her!
There is still time to get your family or senior portraits done! I’m offering a 15% off discount to all sessions booked in November! Email me at: Madeline@SofiaHilder.com for more info!
Her sweet texas accent, her passion for photography and for the Lord & her awesome sense of style. I love everything about this girl! Madi interned with Jessica during the same time I did last summer. I shot these in the parking garage of the hotel where we stayed. Seriously if you want a parking garage as your location, I’m all for it! I love the awesome textures and light.
Clayton and Raegan. They were a fabulous couple to photograph. They were always laughing and holding hands. They have been married for less then a year and they are definitely still in love. Their sense of style is so cute. Aww I just love love. :)
Laurie and I have known each other for a long time. One thing that she has always been passionate about is ballet. I have seen her preform several times. She always has a graceful dancer’s air about her. We endured many mosquito bites while shooting these portraits, but it was completely worth it. When we were done my sister made us frappes and it made a perfect end to the night.
